Oil question: sorry to bug this community of gear heads with this sophomoric question, but

M1 doesn't seem to make (or at least I cannot find) a 10-40 weight oil. Will I end up with 6 quarts of usable 10-40 if I mix 3 quarts each of 5-30 and 15-50?

Not a bad question...but I don't know anyone in the US that specs that weight.

there's M1 10-40 in the local auto store down the street from me...what are u tryin to do???

why tha paticaler weight of oil?
