I searched but theres just too much out there for me to decipher and makes sense, im not plannin on doin one, maybe way off in future, but im just curious and would like to know what that exactly entails, ie. new rods, crank, valves, software or stand alone, etc.
im just lookin for the brief synopsis
Thx guys

to be honest for mechanical id just buy a 2.0 short or long block like from eurosport
as for management i have no idea, but id like to know also, i plan ok keeping the A4 for a long time and making it a toy eventualy.
but check out eurospecsport.com they sell 1.8 and 2.0 20 valvers with forged or cast, buncha diff combinations.

I bought my parts from Eurospecsport a couple years ago......
Block parts & work cost $5200 for JE pistons, carillo rods and a forged 2.0L crank. After turbo kit, custom piping, FMIC, downpipe/cat/full exhaust, the $$$ was over 10k. For engine management, I used a piggy back fuel computer, but if I could start over, I'd do complete standalone, probably TEC3. I have over $55k invested into my car now, it's not cheap. (*car's f/s now, $15k will take it. Much cheaper than building yours up*)
