Ok, for those that wanted to know how and where my turbo spools up.
This is a vag graph of my dyno pull at the 1.8t challenge. GT35R turbo at 20psi and on a back to back run with no cool down.
Series 1 = maf readings in g/s
Series 2 = load

What your looking at is maf readings in g/s
not boost levels. If you look at the graph you will notice at the bottom of the climb is where the boost hits full and then the turbo starts pulling in alot of air, the peak is where the flow of air levels off. Aslo look at where the load hits 100, so both of these tell us that full boost hits around 4600 rpms. So the fact is there is no way its hitting full boost at 6k, unless you think a GT35R at 20psi is going to hit peak hp in 1k rpms after hitting full boost.

Nice thing is that it builds boost to 10psi holds that and then
from 10psi to 20psi its just a snap. This can be seen in my video of my boost gauge. I made a mistake last time I posted that vid, I said it hits 90 mph in 3rd gear when it really hits 100 mph at the end of the 3rd gear run on the dyno.
