Overboost code with GIAC X in my TT
Hey guys, my car was previously throwing code 17743 Engine Torque Monitor - Control Limit Exceeded, but I thought I had resolved the problem by replacing the hose from the N75 to the wastegate. unfortunately, the problem returned this week while I was at the track. The car would run fine for about half a session (~15min) before throwing the code and hitting limp mode. Is it possible that this is just a result of the software being a bit too aggressive for track use? IT was also very hot this weekend (~95 degrees) if that makes a difference. I replaced the hose several times over the weekend (in between track sessions, etc..), but the problem kept coming back. I'm going to try to pressure test the system this week to make sure that there aren't any leaks. Assuming that there are no leaks, would a MBC in parallel with the N75 to clip boost spikes be an acceptable solution or is that a band-aid fix to cover up something else that's actually wrong?
