concerning the mods we were talking about on the 1.8t of 2000. do you think the Greddy G2 is a good catback exhaust? does it sound good? is there better?

Default see inside.

the major issue that will run into with the greddy G2 is that it is a downpipe back system. some believe that it is a little bit louder then a desirable. i have heard it and it doesnt bother me in the least. the other minor issue is that the piping is metric and they use 18 gauge 60mm piping which converts to about 2.4" outer diameter. the piping size is not the issue as much as the wall thickness of the piping. i have a custom system that uses SAE 2.5" Inner diameter piping that is 14 gauge wall thickness. there are better systems to be had for the money (new) but if you can get a good deal on a used unit then i dont see why not. just call up tantrum werks (www.tantrumwerks.com) or labree motorsports and purchase a downpipe from them.
