Default I hope the HPC coating lasts longer than......

the hi temp 2000 degree coating I had them do for the header on my Turbo Lancia. Even though they give it a lifetime gaurantee, it peeled and came off in areas only 100 miles after installation. Keep an eye on it if you can.

I will have my header redone, its a pita to remove. I will go over to the wall and have it "Jet Coated" next time.

Default I gues any caoting if improperly applied can fail, just dont want to see...........

chips hitting tha 100K+ rpm of the compressor, not too healthy for the turbo.
A flakey header can be lived with.

Just make sure that the coating was properly applied. Can they give you a gaurantee about a what if?

To be honest, I'm about to lay out $4K for a 16 valve Abarth head for my Lancia (these things are rare and unobtainable) and I will most likely get that coated. Let me know how the HPC works out for you. Also don't forget the dyno numbers as well as exhaust gas temp #'s
