Hi,

The talk about the new APR 93 octane program has me jealous. Is there an upgrade chip from GIAC in the works for the K03? CMH was talking about the "X" chip for the 2001, would that also work in my 2000? Both are DBW...

I'm waiting for my new Bailey DV to arrive to see if that helps, but I have access to 93 and 94 octane gas so if there is a chip to take advantage of it, I'm all for it. =)

Also, CMH, did you run the new chip with exhaust last weekend? Did a quick search but didn't find the results. I'd like to see a solid 14 second ET in a stage II K03. Long term can't decide on a big turbo (maybe PES) or that J31 K04 program with FMIC.... Or maybe just get a used S4. =)

I have a FWD and its 300 lbs less and less drivetrain loss

but at the track all I was seeing was 1.1-1.2 bar since I was never below 4500 rpms. We plan on tuning it and running it at the drags next weekend. This weekend we are going to test it at the Autox.

Looks like I need to consider at least k04, if not Stage III or S4, heh.

Any more info on the Werk of Art hybrid K04? I saw a post that there is an upcoming K04 hybrid kit to fill the gap between the base K04 and the Stage III kits (perf and pricewise).

Hmmmmm, maybe a K04 with FMIC and some good programming (J31 = 1.5 bar?) would be fun "enough" for my street car. =)

The J31 chip is making up to 1.75 bar and now the X chip is only for the 2001 car right now.
