Possible problem with S3 1.8T (non-DBW)

Between 4 to 5K, the A/F ratio (according to my gauge) goes from rich to the lower side of stoich (almost lean). When this occurs, you no longer feel the linear pull of the motor. After 5K, the A/F Ratio goes back up to rich. Is the drop normal? I'm looking for some feedback from APR S3 owners out there. I don't have boost gauge hooked up right now, so I can't tell you what's going on with that.

thanks in advance

Re: I had a same deal...

and it showed on the dyno. My car would shoot from rich to lean at about 4700.

You should really get your car on the dyno and get a a/f readout. Sending that to the tuners helps them out a good amount.

it should be rich only under boost
