Is it possible to use RS4 oem clutch on '01 A4 1.8tqm...

since there seems to be talk of swapping s4 trannies onto A4's, If anyone knows for sure, I'd like to know the physical differences of the 2 clutches and if I can use the RS4 clutch on a '01 1.8tqm (stock tranny)? Can the flywheels be swapped? can the disc alone be swapped..etc. thanks in advance~

The setup will not work and the S4 will not bolt to all 1.8's without a lot of work.

It is not an exact swap or we would all be running the S4 tranny.

thanks, but what's the story on the clutches...?

ahh, ic, so what's the difference in, at least between the 2 clutches? input shaft size?.. diaphram size...disc diameter/thickness...?
