Question about Intercoolers and K04 upgrades!!
How much of a performance gain is there with a front mount intercooler? I know it makes the engine work more efficiently, but does it actually improve performance (HP gains, increase 1/4 times, etc.)? Is this a good upgrade before a KO4 kit or should the K04 be first? I would like to get my 98 A4 1.8T Man/Fwd to do 0-60 around 6.0 - 6.2 and the 1/4 in the mid to low 14s...what's the best route? I currently have a GIAC chip and cat-back exhaust for engine mods...I'm just not sure what to do next. HELP!!

lots of things..
intake, downpipe, K04, intercooler before K04 or when you get the K04, someone mentioned pulleys, an electric fan (unless the stock one does not run on the engine).. With that I think you'll be pretty good to go.. Then if you want more, id get a bigger turbo (but that will only increase lag)
