Default Question about off-throttle, fuel injector activity.

Some people in the 80/90 forum seem to think the second you are off throttle, the fule injectors stop firing. I belive this to be false. Plse share any and all input.

Please respond to this thread. Thank you for your input.

if fuel inject stop firing, your engine would stall.

Log block 002, on throttle-cut injector time goes to zero.

Default I'm not on either side of the argument, but I'd like to know how, if fuel is cut off 100% under

engine braking, then what is producing the sound coming out of the exhaust?

The zillion pound flywheel turning the engine. Air is still moving, just no gas with it.

Default Doesn't really matter how much the flywheel weighs when the clutch is engaged though right?

I just always assumed it was combustion that accounted for exhaust noise, but I guess not

I usually push my clutch in to shift :-) You hear air coming out the exhaust.
