Default Questions about Air-Ducts / hood vents etc...

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/34457/vent.jpg"></center><p>
I am a bartender and one of my new regulars owns a nice body shop. I always wanted a small duct/vent over the Evo intake on the passenger-side and he said he would do it for me. My audi is my everyday driver to school, and during school clocks about 60-75 miles a day. So my point is that its driven in all kinds of weather. My question is this - What happens when it rains or snows? do you cover the vent? I know the intake should not get soaked. Are the vents/ducts, I've seen on the intake side of the 1.8t, pushed back behind intake, so that as the air passes over the vent pulls the hot air out?

Default You shouldnt have a problem..

This is what I have on my A4, and I have driven in pouring rain and no problems.. You should be ok with those small vents you have in your pic..

Default I put UR type slots over my cone with a carbon baffle on a CF

vented race hood. No problems. Dmak still got the bar in there? Had a guy ask me about it the other day at the Glen.
