Questions about my new BOV valve
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/24886/greddy3.jpg"></center><p>
I am very happy with it - it seems like it will work much better than my current one, I like the design. I just gotta get rid of the purple...
I am gonna weld that fitting onto my steel IC pipe, they reccomend putting it between the IC and the TB. Does anyone have a pic of this installed like that? I wanna say that Yippers posted one, but I am not sure who it was.
I am gonna re-route this like a BPV, but there is not a lot of room to get a 1"+ pipe over to the intake. The opening to re-route is 1.25" that is threaded inside. I was thinking of getting 1.25" Aluminum piping and welding up a pipe to go back to the intake so the valve can work more efficently. I figgered that I just have to find 1.25" silicone hose. Or is this over kill - just get tthe threaded adapter and use 1" piping? (The nipple for the BPV on my intake pipe is already 1")
One last thing, I saw a site that says the Type S goes up to 18psi and the Type R is for over 18psi. This will hold more than 18psi - right???

if nDBW stage 3 guys are using it, they run abotu 20-22 psi IIRC
but thye also hear some fluttering....not sure if they is related to the amount of boost they run.

That's what I am thinking.
hmmm - According to Greddy - you should not hear fluttering... You can adjust the stiffness, but the adjust ment does not appear to chage it much. dunno.
BTW - How is your car?

dahlback has a high boost DV on their site
look under the specials link. I know their cars are pretty rediculous...if that's what they use, I'm sure it works well.<ul><li><a href="http://tjmmotorsport.com/dahlback.html">http://tjmmotorsport.com/dahlback.html</a</li></ul>

If I were running it as a BOV I'd put it up by the TB like Mau has his set up. With it being plumbed
as a BPV I am not sure if it is a better set up to have it closer to the turbo. Audi had the option to put it where they wanted and they chose the turbo outlet hose to turbo inlet hose. Made me wonder about the length of the run on a just before the TB set up.
It holds my boost just fine.

Isn't the stiffness just used for the idle adjustment?
as a blow-off valve, you need to adjust the spring so that it is closed at idle.
A lot of people don't, and then wonder why their car runs like crap when they use a BOV.

This one - 98 Euro
<center><img src="http://216.110.167.205/~dbrace/images/Parts/DumpValve2.jpg"></center><p>114.857 USD - a lot cheaper than the GReddy - but does it work. Might have to try it...
