Reccomendations Please - I want 270HP (200KW)
I know I need an exhaust, and turbo and probably injectors, FMIC, manifold?, Clutch? etc....
All the mods listed in my sig are already installed - so there is a good base for the upgrade.
Not really fussed on price as long as its not over the top huge $.
I was thinking KO-4 turbo. Any reccomendations for a kit? I hear Garrot is coming out with a Sport KO4 upgrade kit for the A4?

The K04 will not make 270 hp on a 1.8t
your better off going with a bigger turbo kit like what PES or APR has.
As for the bigger K04 kit, it was going to be with DRS but I have not heard anything about it yet. I know juan had put a K04-25 on his car but it is not fully tuned and I think he is now pulling it off to sell the car.

And just who is gonna make you a chip for your ECU #
I'm looking forward to hearing this. As from my research, Lucus is about the only guy who's gonna be able to help us with our 558da ECU's. (Plus, some overly expensive MTM kits of course.)
The ECU seems to be our primary restriction. I am very intersted in seeing some of the boys using 3rd party CPU's. I just cant wait until we see some of the boys down under breaking some ground here. It looks like Lucus himself maybe heading this way.
Personally, all I want is a Ko4, but I'm struggly to even get the GIAC KO4 kit requirements.

The KO4 will max out at 240Hp
if that and its such old technology. For 270-290Hp your better going for a Garrett ball bearing turbo. Its a far better turbo than KKK only thing its not bolt on so there are extra costs involved. I guess part of the equation is price if your happy with 240Hp the KO4 is the cheapest way to go at least in the U.S it is. The problem is KKK turbos are so damn expensive in Australia.

But we dont drive HP do we, since we actually use tq to do our daily driving.
If you looking for power on the street then the K04 actually makes more useable tq then the larger kits do.
