remap my a5
 

Hi,
i was thinking of remapping my 2013 a5 2l turbo the guy told me that with this remap is going to have 50 more bhp and the consumption is going to drop drastically. any one did this mod that can give me an idea how the car performs and the consumption thank in advance

Consumption would drop if you drive sensibly. If you go WOT all the time, consumption will increase. I have two remapped cars and one racechippped car and in all three, I get better fuel consumption post remap/chip install because you need lesser throttle input compared to before to reach similar speeds (atleast, that is my theory and I could be wrong). But yes. Remapping is worth it.

Nope. You cannot do anything using vcds or obdeleven. You need special software such as alientech ktag which are used to read and write onto the ECU. It is very difficult to procure it and do it yourself. I would not recommend you do it yourself but instead, get a reputable tuning shop to do it for you.
