remember my charge pressure negative deviation fault codes from the summer...
... well, i've had a busy rest of the summer and fall but I managed to solve my problems with the boost leak by switching out the 710N valve with an aftermarket one.
If you don't remember my long saga of boost leak you can search in this forum. But thanks to all those that helped me solve the trouble.
I've been away from AW for a couple months due to work but just wanted to update the group. If you want more detailed info, drop me an email.

were you going into limp mode when this happened?
I just got that fault code the other day and it put me in limp mode. In my case it has to do with what I did to my N75 when I switched to a boost controller. I still want to try an aftermarket BPV for the ehll of it. Sometimes I really don't know if my turbo sounds right or of it sounds like there is a leak.

yup, DTC 17956 put me into limp mode...
... i got it around 5400 rpm with full boost.
I logged lots of MAF and boost and N75 data and replaced a bunch of parts and got my chip program updated and tried a couple 710N bpvs. In the end, it was an aftermarket piston type valve that solved the loss of boost.

it happened to me saturday night, but I wasn't even in boost
I was just cauually driving, shifted from 2nd to 3rd and all of a sudden no more power. In my case leaving the N75 plugged (but not plumbed in teh system) in while using an electronic boost controller did this to me.
