S4/Adjustable Shocks - Do any adjust without removing from car???
Looking for adjustable shocks that can be adjusted without taking the whole thing apart - willing to remove the wheel, but that's about it. Does anyone have any experience in this? Will be using stock springs/ride height/wheels. Please e-mail.
Thanks, DG

Custom/racing shocks
You are pretty much limited to shocks designed for racing if you want to get that level of adjustability.
I looked into some options for my A4 some months ago and found this fact. The price was also well up there - like $2000 + per set. Most were rebuildable though, I have no idea how much a rebuild kit would set you back or how often it it would be needed. There is an outfit in the US that does a custom version of Koni shocks that has the dial adjustment on the body and a UK firm that makes a nice looking adjustable racing shock. I exchanged mail with the UK outfit but they indicated the soft end of the setting was probably too stiff for street-sport springs. Unfortunately I cant seem to put my hands on the names of either outfit.
