small cooling problem
i installed a efk when we put in the new 2.0 liter. we wired the new fan to the old ac fan and checked everything , it worked. i went for some dyno pulls and noticed the car was getting hot. neither fan was coming on, wtf.was i spose to upgrade a fuse or something i have no idea how to fix this . i just got a thermostat ic fan switch to try next but i am worried that come summer my ac fan wont run ....please help

Thats how I'm wiring mine up...bought a switch from jegs and -->
wired it to 75x (???) under the dash. so it keeps the car running like the MKIV golfs do (duel electric fans) after the car turns off to make sure it cools down...

i had the same problem...i ran an override switch so I can...
turn it on at any time...but it still didn't cool it like factory...so next friday I am taking the EFK off and going back to stock fan clutch assembly. The tuner thinks that the FMIC is not helping the flow situation...but I don't know...either way I'm going back to stock since I know it ran good that way.
Summit Racing has an adjustable thermo fan switch also for $39.95.
How is your car running with that ATP GT28Rs and Upsolute chip? Is there any sputtering or anything? Or is there finally some decent software and it runs smooth. I am considering a bigger turbo. But this ABD Racing GT30R kit has also gotten my attention. Just curious has to how your setup is running.
