Southbend stage 2 clutch flywheel change
Question - I have been using a Southbend stage 2 clutch for about 4000 miles, light AWE aluminum flywheel.
Pain in the butt driving in stop/go rush hour traffic, so while my tranny is being replaced *grumble* I might switch to a heavier flywheel.
2003 A4 1.8t, APR stage 1, SB clutch K70205-HD-OFE-SMF(AWE told me single mass only - dual mass not compatible). Was hoping to buy a refurb steel flywheel. I realize it it not going to be a smooth as stock but hoping it will make rush hour traffic a bit more bearable!
Might buy steel fw and sell the gently used AWE fw, but not sure if it is worth the hassle.
Any advice or feedback would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
