No thanks for the tasty lunchmeat (made from pork shoulder and ham) that ended up in my mailbox.

I'll be more clear...
at least five members of the Austin Audi Club have reported being spammed by Turbo5. Specifically, the spam was from (Tony Mast) tmast@turbo5.com.
The email addresses of our club members are posted on our site for our use and convenience, not yours.
We will thank you kindly to please stop the spam.

I checked "no spam, please."
I still got the Turbo5 spam. I'm not sure this has anyhing to do with the registry anyway, since it's down -- unless they got the email addys off of it a long time ago and just got around to the spamming.
Given that we Austin guys are the only ones bitching about it right now, I would guess that Tubro5 went to the member listing page on our club's site and harvested addresses off of it.
Majorly uncool.

Ok guys... I just realized what happened...
That was a miscomunication on our part. Tony is new here and made a small mistake in ettiquette trying to help us out... I assure you he really meant nothing by it.
So... I am sorry for the SPAM (which it was) and I can assure you it will not happen again. Please email me if you think I need a good yelling at.
Thanks,
