Starting off the line
I have a 2000 A4 and want to ask a for some advice. I'm trying to get off the line as quick as possible. When I'm about to start, I rev the engine to about 4000 and then let go of the clutch. The car jumps very quickly and then the engine rpms drop down and I lose all power. What am I doing wrong and what is the proper technique to get a good start with an A4?

It is easy. Pull the clutch up to the friction point, then rev up to 3500. As you let out the
clutch you will then what to go WOT. The problem you are seeing is the DBW seeing the driveline shock, it will then pull all the boost from the car by opening up the wastegate. It will also do this when you try to speed shift if you dont let of the gas a little.
