Default Stasis' custom valved (digressive) Konis...

Has anyone tried these? Are they indeed much smoother over sharp bumps (high piston velocity)than, say, Bilsteins? Are they worth the extra $ over the standard Konis? Thanks alot.

Default I've driven an A4 with the 700/750 coilover kit on 18's and they were . . .

. . . far more comfortable than my 17's on my stock sport suspension. This a couple years ago when the design was Vortrag's. The specially spec'd Koni's are of much higher quality than the Bilsteins. Can't by them directly from Koni either. Run them with S-03's on SSR competitions and you'll spank just about any other A4 in the twisties.

Default STASIS Fixed Height Custom Damper Kit (?) (xpost)

<center><img src="http://www.stasisengineering.com/fixedheight1.jpg"></center><p>
I noticed a number of S4s using this suspension (or its coilover variant). Are there any A4 owners out there with this setup? Any and all comments would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Default Digressive is great on the street.

There are several companies that can give you the digressive option w. custom valving. But be careful what price point you end up at. The Koni real race dampers are not that expensive and are fully adj., then you get into triple-adj shocks.

Default Those look nice, but expensive... ouch, anywhere cheaper?

Those are expensive. I'd love to have some, but is there any places which are cheaper? Are they expensive because they're custom valved?
