Default Will those work on a 2.8? They look much firmer than stock 2.8's.

Also, when will Stasis advertise them on their web site?

Default is one higher than the other?

just curious, since that is how the 1.8T mounts are.

Default Does the S4 2.7tt mounts fit for a 1.8t engine? If so I guess the RS4 ones would be a nice

altenative for less money...

Also, too hard mounts may give problems with the knock sensors...

Default I'm interested if you can put an end to the myth...

Of causing knock sensors to overreact because of the extra firmness.

Default Isn't lucas using standalone? Without the stock knock-sensors...? If so, he's not the man...

...to get that tested

Default Re: Isn't lucas using standalone? Without the stock knock-sensors...? If so, he's not the man...

I am still running stock ECU with GIAC chip.
The mounts have just arrived after a long wait and have not yet been installed.
Yes I am putting in a standalone, it is wired in but not activated yet as i still have to fit up the new crank pully with new trigger setup.
I will see how thing progress over the next few weeks on what gets done first.
To be honest, if its going to hold up finnishing my in order to check for knock sensors, i wont check for that, But if crank trigger mount is delayed, and i install the mounts, then i will check and report.
I dont believe you should have a knock sensor problem anyway, and my reasoning for that is that under WOT where you want knock sensor to work, you engine would receive max tortional twist and you existing mounts would be a full stress anyway, where that would shot some increase in knock sensor activity, if it was a issue in the first place.
A True Solid mount may cause some issues, as they have no give what so ever.
