suggestions on how to get temperature readings(via sender) for the brakes? TIA

Temporary or permanent? ...
... You might be able to rig up something temporary to measure caliper temperature with a tire pyrometer. For rotor temp, you can probably get a very rough idea by having someone photograph your brakes as you go by under hard braking. The color of hot cast iron is predictable and a function of temperature. If I remember correctly, red at about 600 oC to orange and yellow to white at about 1200 oC.
For something permanent, you can get brake temperature with data acquisition from the link below, but it won't be cheap. Caliper temp can be done with a thermocouple, rotor temp will require an infrared sensor.
Just out of curiousity, why do you want to know?

http://www.piresearch.com/</a

There's an easier way...
There's no need to go high-tech with infrared sensors and all that jazz.
Find any good racer supply store. There's two products you'll likely want: rotor temp paint and calper temp stickers. The paint comes with a brush, has the consistency of nail polish. You paint it on your pads and rotors, ad it permanently changes color based on the temperature it reaches. You can compare it to the chart on the bottle when you stop.
For the calipers, the stickers are the same idea, only lower temps. They look like little thermometers, but change color based on the temp level. Same deal: you read them when you stop.
Easy enough, eh?
