Supercharger in high altitudes, HELP!!!!
Hi, I need to know if anybody know what can I do.
I live in Mexico City, which is about 2500 meters above sea level, and I just installed the PES kit on my 1999 V6 Passat, I've connected a boost gauge and tells me that it is running only at 4lbs of pressure, instead of 7.5lbs or so. I've thought of changing the pulley to a smaller one, but I would like opinions and suggestions.
Thank you

Well before you jump the gun....
You will NOT get 7.5 until the weather is cold (ie below 70 degrees outside) More ideal would be around 60. In the hot weather the most you will probably see is 6.5 lbs, but that doesn't happen unless you have WOT and are above 4000 rpm.
