sympoms of a bad N-75 valve?
no boost right?
|
If it leaks across the seal yes .. if it fails to open .. broken or bad connection
or a fragged valve itself it will over-boost. Plumbing it bass ackwards will over boost as well. If the wiring and plumbing are correct and functioning and the Vag Com output test (03 IIRC)shows it working properly the ECU might be gunny.

my multimeter is @ a friends house.....& i dont have a VAG
so ill have to wait to test it :(
but i know it IS hooked up correctly........ :p |
I read your post in the A4 forum so I knew that you had it hooked up right. Just covering bases : )
Where you at? .. anyone close by with a VAG ? You can check the leak part by pulling the valve.. cover one short leg and blow into the other short leg. According to the Bentley's there should be no flow out the long tube .. if there is 'replace the valve'. Bentley's page 24-127

Vag Com locator
