Default tested the top end of the apr non dbw program v3.1a.....142mph not bad @ all....

I was just about @ redline I may have been able to get a few more mph but the tach had not moved in several miles.

this is what the mph gauge said...I have no idea what my true speed was
the gauge may have been closer to 141mph I dont know for sure. between 141-142mph

You can get another 5 mph from an exhaust.

Default Well he could also get another 7 mph if he has a tail wind.

I think he was fighting drag vs hp and drag was winning.

Exhaust = top end HP = easier to beat the drag.

Default Re: Mark I have the exhaust and another ...

5mph could be possible if I kept it floored from gingerman track all the way home to chicago !!!
the needle stoped @ 142 for about 3 minutes. then I had to slow down becase I went over a rise and noticed a 16 wheeler was flipped over in the middle of the road.

Default Exhaust moves hp more higher in the rpms but does not make much more hp

5-7 hp at best.

Default quite a bit more on some cars I gained 2.5mph in the 1/4 mile with a cat back

turbo cars benefit greatly both in spool up time and in top end (low end and top end) with a free flow exhaust

Default Then take off your exhaust all the way and you will find out that is not true.

No back pressure at all will cause your little K03 to make less tq. This was proven by a tuner that has a full A4 race/track car and when he put a dump tube right at the turbo the car lost all bottom end.

Default not true that I gained 2.5mph with a cat back? ,,, some bottom end before boost yes

but he did get a car that spools quicker and holds boost longer and has lower turbo operating temps

the dump tube worked for my friends at the track very well, but they doesn't spend much time off boost

It must be just me but I don't care about the characteristics of the car off boost, I want the car to spool sooner and hold boost longer

My 2 cents anyway
