Default Tried searching, but curious on N2O

First off, I don't drag race. I'm looking for info. on why N2O is looked down upon. Safety issues? Not just safety of the driver, but others in case something goes wrong? Second, I realize that most of the discussions involve tracks and not drag strips. Just curious that is all. I tried searching a little bit, but Ididn't find anything.

TIA,
