Turbo oil inlet hose.. how can i get this thing out !!??

Hey.. my turbo oil inlet hose is shot, so i need to replace it. I have everything disconected, but I can't seem to wiggle the damn thing out. Who knows how to get this thing out? I'm talking about #8 in the picture.

When you remove the nut...
...(to the right of the number 6 on the diagram) it should pull off. Are you sure that it is completely off? If so, it should slide up the tube to the stop so that the threads are completely exposed.

Have you disconnected it at the other end (the oil distribution block)?
If so it will need to be twisted a bit to snake it out from behind the head. Just play with rotating it and it will come out. Back in with the replacement will be a joy too.

Re: got it...
Ok.. took plenty of rotating, but the new line is in. I just can't get that bracket that holds it to the back of the block back on. Looks like it's not moving though
