Turbo Prob's/ HELP!!! ****THE SMOKING GUN????****
After getting home tonight, took one last look at the engine, and BEHOLD! a broken vacuum hose.
It's the little papery type hose the runs from the turbo up by the valve covers and down again.
Thing looks like it is missing about 2" worth of hose. Amazing. The thing is really brittle.
Anyway, I'll have it replaced tomorrow AM, and will get my Wett chip back in.
I'll report back on what the dealer says as well.
Thanks again everyone for your suggestions!

THE SMOKING GUN is.............
the turbo bypass vacuum line. Dealer replaced it in 1 hr. for $200.
Apparently this line is used to regulate boost at idle by throttling the by pass valve.
With the hose shot, the car leans itself out as far as it can.
This is why the car still ran smooth, and idled fine, but just had very little power.
With the chip back in, My Baby is Back!!!!
Two coats of Meguiars tonite for you!!!
