Default The ultimate way to find power! 4WD Dyno

Adrenalin Motorsport,
Is located in the center of New England, Adrenalin is offer use of the dyno to anybody looking for exactly what their car is putting to the ground. This is the best way to judge the performance gain one is getting in their projects.
Cheers,

Default about 25% in my experience Saturday at the dyno.....

I have an '01 1.8TQMS with an APR chip, APR exhaust and a few other goodies. APR claims 207hp and 240lbs of torque for the DBW '01 cars with their software.

I was on a Mustang Dyno 4-wheel dyno, one that measures what the car puts to the ground.

Anyway, I pulled 179lbs of torque and 155hp. Air temp was 62, located near Dallas, car was slightly warmed up.

Doing the math shows about 25% loss through the drivetrain.

Hope that helps,

PeteH

Default Thanks, that's about what I figured. I saw a post about a month ago

where a guy dyno'd his S4 w/ almost same spec as my car( Giac X-chip, cat-back exhaust). Just wondering what 262 hp translates to. Now I know.
