update on blown motor
edit delete
i went and picked up the built 2.0 liter today. while i was there we pulled the head of my old motor. it looks like it may have jumped time. i bent every exhaust valve ,and the center intake valve in every cylinder, and i scored every piston. i need to call upsolute because when the chip went in the guy went for a ride with me and the car bucked so hard under boost my buddy flew around in the back seat.i think he may have loaded the wrong program and made the car jump time. i have no idea what i could do about this. looks like i might just run the atp chip and an safc II, that should give me the fuel control i need to lean it out a bit{atp's software runs really rich}.with the proper tuning and a little luck i am hoping to see over 320 whp at around 25ish lbs of boost. the big cams in the new motor should give me some nice top end pull.

i talked to my mechanic ,there is no way the upsolute chip killed my old motor
it could have been that i screwed up when i did my tb install i might not have torqued the crank pulley all the way .....whoops.... so hopefully the new motor will have no problems. i should be dynoing next weak, i will post numbers as soon as i get them.i just honed and polished the exhaust housing on the gt28-rs so it should flow nicely. the exhaust manifold and hot side of the turbo have been ceramic coated for heat retention also. i powder coated the intake manifold flat black and the valve cover is coated and polished also. it should at least look real good. hope it runs as good as i think. ther is a vw/audi dyno dat at a local shop in pa on mar 5 so i hope to turn some heads.
