V8 auto converted to 5 spd.
Even tho the transmition bolts on to the engine it is not a simple conversion.
I did it a smart way I bought a 1986 5000tq and striped it for parts and I can tell you that it was the best way to do it.
We made a chromoly fly wheel with custom 2200lbs preasure plate,custom tranny mounts and custom shifter.
The whole conversion from start to finish took us
20 hours. The car is a dream to drive, and the customer was more than impresed.
