Has anyone dabbled with it or can recommend it.
Only thought is that I wanna upgrade to a k04 and this system might take care of any expected lag due to the way it can be set up...
Any thoughts appreciated

There is no lag with a ko4. In fact I made more low end trq with it over my Ko3. The ko4 just makes more power and trq in every area of the rpm band.

If you do the NOS start of with a very small amount. A typical 50hp shot will probably net 100hp gain. I would try a 20hp shot if you must try it. Make sure you have an EGT gauge and an Air fuel gauge installed.

The Fuel injectors are maxed with a ko4 turbo. You must use a wet system if you do decide to try it.

I have run NOS on several chevy big and small blocks. You NEED forged pistons or you will quickly burn a hole in your stock set. I am considering NOS for my audi as well so if you come up with more info please shoot me an email!

I looked at that kit for a while but could not swing the $1500. I sent them the specs of the Stage III, injector size, injector pulse time at the tourqe peak which seemed to have the longest pulse time, and fuel pressure. They replied that with those specs a 100hp shot would be possible but they did not recommend going that far. Which was ok with me since I was looking more along the lines of a 25-40 shot for 1/4 times. I have always made fun of my friends that were bottle fed so I don't know if I could get myself to do it anyhow!

He probably means a nice chromoly 6010 set (and some new rods while ur at it).
