warning: potential stupid question
Would small electric fans behind each of the 225 TT's IC's do anything to help deal with heat soak? Seems that one of the biggest 'problems' is heat soak when the car isn't moving...

Right on!
I did some measurements on my A4 after chipping to see if I had heat problems as implied is some dufus' ec mag article and what I learned was the real heat soak comes when simply sitting still.
When I get a chance I plan to add a fan. I havent designed a suitable control circuit for it yet so havent pursued it.
Here is a collection of fans that might be useful...<ul><li><a href="http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/fan.htm">http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/fan.htm</a</li></ul>

cool, thanks. I'll look into it - traffic's a b*tch here and I can sure
feel (or seem to!) how the car was sluggish to get going again in the heat wave days we've just had..
