What is a 2.7T engine and 6 speed worth?
It is a complete front clip, engine, wiring, turbos, and 6 speed from a 2002 Allroad. My friend wants to sell it but does not know what it is worth.
Any ideas? is this any different from a S4 engine and trannie? I may want to ****** the trans...

Umm, that trans will only work on 97 A4s....
specifically, ones with 2.0 conversions.
And they can't give them away, so tell your friend, I'll be nice and give him $100 for his trans
I'd like to say they are the same, but there might be minor differences in the exhaust and intake plumbing. The gearing could be different as well.

ratio's are different than S4 box...
Manual 3.750:1 2.059:1 1.417:1 1.071:1 0.857:1
0.730:1 revers 3.455:1 final drive 4.375:1 you may have problems sorcing a rear diff to put this in an A4.

LOL, actually - I am taking the trannie, so I will just need your 2.0L engine...

yeah I looked at the model guide before I saw tgil's post. The ratio's are different. Even worse - the final drive is too.
I bet I could scored the trannie real cheap.

check out at the dealer first and work your way back. You can also post it on ebay, and see what it fetches.
