Default What are the best performance brake pads A4 B5

What are the best perfomance brake pads for an A4, something that offers excellent stopping power... I heard that Pagid, Hawk or Mintex are good. Do any of these perform better than others?

I have these pads plus Zimmermann Cross drilled rotors, this combo is heads and heel above Mintex Redbox pads which only lasted 6mo. and made tons of dust. call randy @ 1-888-489-2834 @ Midtex Audi Specialist tell him John W. sent you and he will hook you up.

Pagid Blues stop waaaay better than Red Box. No personal experience with Hawk, though.

Default Porterfield R4S for the street...

Ditto on the thoughts about the Redbox...they suck. EBC Greens are ok with less dust than stock.

If you want track pads, get track pads and put them on at the track.

Default Depends, track use or street use?

Track pads take a while to warm up and aren't great for street use. All those mfr's make great pads, depends on your use.
