what brake fluids are you guys using? i've heard that ATE super blue is bad stuff for the clutch.

Valvoline Synpower...
...used it with both the stock setup and BIRA setup. I have never once boiled it.
As with any brake fluid, changing it every year helps to address most boiling problems.

Good choice!
Best bang for the buck IMHO. At $5 a liter and almost the same dry boiling point as the best of them, it's a steal. You might get flamed by the guys who claim they can boil fluid at will tho See you at the Poconos.

Boiling it/turning it brown is very easy to do if you get fast enough...
...I can pretty much do it during my first run group of the day at the track now, and I use to recommend Valvoline too. I replaced it with some Super Blue at the last track event, and will probably replace that with some Motul, AP or Castrol SRF before my next one.

Are you sure you have absolutely no air in your system?
Brake fade usually starts from the pad. you'll get gas fade first before the fluid can boil. The heat has to go through the pads, then teh calipers to the fluids. You'll lose the pads way before the fluid will boil unless you have air in teh system(in which case it'll lower hte boiling point). I just can't see how the fluid will boil before the pads start to fade.

Castol GTLMA or the Ford Heavy duty brake fluid is plenty
That Castrol SRF stuff is EXPENSIVE at around $70/can.
Motul 600 is good though, but a bit too much hydroscopic if you don't purge it frequently.
I had no problems at Buttonwillow or Thunderhill (with high track temps) with the Castrol GTLMA.
