Default You'll need to send them specs of your current..

muffer/exaust and measure how much space you have around the piping. From there on, they'll make whatever you want.

You'll be heard commin' round the mountain.

Default I love mine. Loud, deep growl. 2.5" system with no resonator.

Default I also have a 3" custom with centre straight through and rear single S magnaflows

Yes my car was LOUDER when i had the rear as a straight through as well. Light to medium throttle exhaust noise is reduced with S Magnaflow but still satisfying. Not quite so raspy either but my god does it sound orgasmic from 4500-7500rpm.

Droning was significantly reduced too at highway speed and only present under moderate load. Which was my main motivation for changing from a rear straight to an S. I think the huge dump pipe and CAT under the car plus the centre straight through also contributes to the drone. I think for a 3" i have the best of both worlds, most people dont believe its a 3" until i lean into her a bit! The slight bit of back pressure has done nothing to top end performance and returned a smidge more torque off boost. I had my car dynoed before chipping after chipping and with exhaust V1 and V2. I had 92KW at the wheels (Quattro on 4wd load dyno) standard (132KW @ crank standard) , 108KW with wett chip, 116KW with both V1 and V2 exhausts. One thing noticable on the graphs was the dip below 2000rpm with the 3" exhausts compared to standard, but the power delivery after 2000 was much more rapid (steeper curve) compared to standard. This translates into a more pronounced shove in the back when driving off boost to full boost, i wouldnt however call this turbo lag as the turbo actually spools up quicker. When driving with anything more than 2500rpm boost is nearly instantaneous (improved from stock exhaust) One thing that could be improved on the factory ECU would be boost control, which is why i guess Lucas has gone with an external boost controller. This is really only relevent if you have more than just a chip though, and the factory boost control could probably be customised to the exhaust if you could find someone to dyno and modify it.

Considering i still only have a K03, in hindsight i may have elected for 2.75" or 2.5" which would have reduced the off boost drop and reduced overall noise with minimal power loss. But then again, that sound is totally satisfying when you unleesh the beast. I have been considering further turbo upgrades since, (as i always had planned) but find it difficult to justify $5k when i already spent $3.5k with exhaust and chip. And the S4 or even S3 is looking more and more tempting... The Maganflow?? Buy it! but be prepared for more noise. Oh I had a remus briefly too which was a real disappointment in the noise stakes. But some people prefer the softer sound of a rear box only like the remus.
Oh i should mention idle sounds great with the 3" magnaflow. I will record the exhaust with my minidisc and convert it to mp3 if anyone is interested.
Am i a fanatic or what! Actually I think Lucas wins hands down on that one!!!!!
