What is that thing beside the green power steering fluid? boost controller soleniod?
and what is the blue hose along the bottom of the engine bay? Could that airbox melt someday? Maf sensor gets hot with stock turbo...this setup can't be long term

Good guess, I say.
It does appear to have a line that goes to the back side, near where a wastegate would be, but it doesn't look like the other line goes to the right place. maybe something for vacuum control, pcv, secondary air, emissions, etc.

The black box is part of a Greddy boost controller
and as others have said, the blue line is a coolant feed line that comes with the PES T28 kit. You see Terry from Innovative owns that 2002 A4 and used to have a PES T28 kit on it before putting this new Airwerks turbo on. Just so you know, the reason the stock box was on was because terry drove the car to IAS (pics are from) on the stock OEM chip which is tuned for a stock maf housing running only 10psi. I think for the tuner show on tv he might have been running the T28 chip.
