What u guys think of the LS1 trans ams and camaros?
thinkin about sellin my audi and gettin one of those. THEY HANDLE LIKE **** THOU! AND there huge, a T/A is as long as my moms VAN!!!

You can't compare the two cars
I'm a former Firebird owner (67 convertible) and if you like to go straight and cruise, just fine, but the materials, the interior, the noise, the handling, its just such a huge compromise. You really out to at least think about a used vette, its the same engine and slightly better quality and it handles.

emmmmmmmm hummmmm....
but ive read a lot of material and talked to a lot of people, and they all say that with a coil over kit it handles "good." I know that for striaght line acc. its one of the best cars to mod. SLP headers add 41hp to the wheels!!! thats a $800 mod, and for that much power i think its worth it. I need a car that will SMOKE Mr. S4s supra. he runs high 12s. I know i can buy a used supra and make it faster, BUT I WANT THAT TORQUE!!!!! ANY other cars out there with the "same" type of power and potentail that a T/A has? Its gotta be a bargin buy too. 16k for a used WS6 trans am.

That's true about the power of the 944, goto Powerhaus' site
they are a real good tuner in Phoenix. You are still gonna have lag though. At least the thing will outhandle just about anything on the road though. Oh, goto rennlist for prices, I think you can get a nice one for around 10k.
