Where to buy a bosch 5-bar fuel pressure regulator
#5
Just make one...
...from a 4bar FPR.
Dimple depth on the 4bar is ~6mm. The dimple needs to be 1.5mm deeper (7.5mm total depth from top face) for the regulator to deliver 5bar. Use a punch with a round end to deepen the dimple...or use a press for accuracy.

Get an adjustable FPR, that way you can tune it exactly for your needs . . .
1 BAR = almost 15 psi. Too big of a jump in one go. I have an adjustable FPR, and it works wonderfully. I dialed it in after trial and error and have a very good mixture. When it loses some of its pressure retention ability , I will dial it up again. You cannot compensate for age on a non-adjustable FPR.

Re: I had a Bosch that had 5 bar stamped right on it...I had it about 3 years ago...MTM
That's interesting, hmmm, I'd really like to know the product number and other markings on the regulator. I thought that most, if not all, of the Bosch 5 bar regulators used by the tuners would be modified 4 bar ones. Please post the info, if you can.

Re: Where to buy a bosch 5-bar fuel pressure regulator
What does 5 bar fpr mean actually? Does it mean 5 bar fuel pressure in the rail when the intake pressure is 0 bar (e.g. at idle with no vacuum tube from the intake manifold attached), and what about at full boost? What is the maximum fuel pressure? Has anyone mesured fuel pressures with 5 bar (modified or not) under different conditions, how much is it?
