Default Where do I connect the innovative LM1 external input to log RPM?

I tried on the wire that goes to the coilpack with the inductive clamp. I got some readings, but very unstable, and nothing above 1500rpm...

xr4tic, you have one? how did you do?

thanks.

Morten.

Default I am also looking to get the LM1 for my car.

As for the rpm signal, you need to find it on the first plug towards the drivers door on the back of the cluster. If you have a ndbw it will be a solid green wire and if you have a dbw it will be green with a colored tracer on it. This is the wire I used when installing my shift light back in 2001 and have been using it since then.

I hooked it up to the cam position sensor. No problems so far.

On my nonDBW, it's pin 76, the green/purple wire.
