white smoke and oil consumptions ?? (TT-225)
I had replace the short block (12000 mi on the new one) and put a new head gasket; it run good for 500 mi (with 1.5 liter of oil...) and I have white smoke at the exhaust. This is a theft recovered car (20000mi) that maybe had lack of oil because a conn rod lock on the crankshaft. No coolant consumptions. I don't replace the head bolts (just grind them 2mm) with the proper torque and new gasket. Bad turbo ? Does a compression test will tell me a problem on the head gasket ? Thanks
