Default Who makes seat brackets for the new 02 A4 (more)

I bought Recaro SRD's and can't find anyone with a new bracket for the 02. Wider than the 01. Wedge doesn't, Recaro doesn't. Audi won't even give me the bolt pattern diminsions. Any suggestions appreciated.

The car is to new for a company to carry something like that yet.

Old enough to be profitable? My 96 A4 didn't have aftermkt seat brackets available until '99.

Default I need them for autocross

That's SO disappointing. Am I the only one? And I have Schroth belts too. A shop here will do it for time and materials (maybe $700). I asked Reacro USA for a bracket with the same bolt pattern. No response. Guess I'll have to get a welding shop to just make a plate for me. Bummer.

Default I haven't looked at a '02. How different are they from a '01 and older?

maybe you can have the weldshop retrofit them since they're only about $40 I think. I got mine from Frey Racing in Milpitas, Ca. but they ordered them from Corbeau. Took them like 2 months to get it.

Default The bolts are wider. I took out (more)

my passenger seat to measure and sent the diminsions to Recaro to match against any other models with same pattern. NO response. I am going to start raising hell about this. I don't really trust a general welding shop to make both brackets and sliders (needed). These cars have been out on Europe for a year. There's no excuse for Recaro not to offer a bracket for this (soon to be) very popular car. AFLAC!
