Default Will 19" BBS CH rims be good for the track?

I need different rims so my brakes fit without spacers. Juan has his 19" rims for sale, used.

Default Weight and rim diameter,...

Their light for what they are. I just got a set on friday, but for the track,... it won't be good with such a large diamter rim.

I used my set of BBS RK's 17" for the track to get the 12 sec 1/4 mile time. But I hope that it's possible to break into the 11 sec range with my new BBS 19" Ch's. Cheers.

Default Nice... I see you got the Extra Load Conti's

Get them on yet? I love mine... incredibly sticky, smooth and quite tire all at once.

Default It will depend on the track. The 19" decreases the tire spring rate both vertically and

laterally...big time. The rest of your suspension now has to be tuned to this challenge which means, the amount of spring in your chassis, the wheel rate springs, and very good dampening (shocks). Being a moderatly priced street legal rim they are a heavy flywheel, times four. More importantly... if you like the way they look and they make you happy, buy them, your proabably not going to Sebring right away anyways.

Default bigger the wheel, the slower the car....

simple physics.. go as small as you can for the track (as long as gearing is not adversely affected for the particular track).
