Which wire to use an inductive clamp on , on the coil pack for RPM reading?

Default Which wire to use an inductive clamp on , on the coil pack for RPM reading?

I know you get the RPM reading from one of the wires on the coilpacks (iirc)...but which one is it? This is for a 98 nDBW 1.8T A4.

Default Not sure of that, but you can find the tach wire on the back of the cluster.

It is in the very left harness and for the ndbw cars it is a sold green color wire. This is where I wired in my shift light for my 2000 which is a green wire with a colored tracer.
