Here I am running 15W-50 and you want to run OW-40! Where you live? Anartica?
I'm aware of the quoted statistics of Mobil 1 OW oils. However, these oils are "engineered" and so are the specific engines they run in. Namely the "newer" engines are engineered to run these OW oils(2001 S4). Reason: reduced internal friction = reduced emissions. Honda does the same thing, as does MercBenz.

After I put 15w-50 in my car..
just about every single tap and rattle dispersed. I'm not goin back to the lighter stuff. It turns black after a week+ of driving and the oil would get too hot.
