Default worth the hassle?

I just bought a used 2000 S4 with automatic tranny. Is is worth chipping for more horsepower? Are there any risks involved. I live in the Northeast and can't find a shop that does the work.

Default Re: where are you!

I'm in southern New Hampshire. I heard there was a place in Concord but can't seem to locate it. My knowledge of cars is sadly lacking and would like a resource that could help me make a decision to get the chip or not.
