would a dead battery for 3-4 weeks mess with software on a chip?
so I finally got my exhaust leak fixed on the a4 today. I was all excited and went out for a drive, i was going to go up palomar, but my car was acting weird. like there was no boost basically. We stopped and let it cool down for 30 mins or so, hood open and all that, thinking maybe because it was only 98°, it might have just been too hot.
so driving back, same deal. I got on it a few times driving home and it seems to pull ok up to 5k, then it drops like a rock. you can hear the k04 spool up and start going, but once it hits that point, it just bogs out pretty much.
so, i came to a few possibilities:
1) jacked software from battery being dead so long, then jumpstarting it?
2) blown turbo (joy, since it's brand new)
3) a vacuum line came off, everything seemed on there ok though when we were fixing the exhaust leak + checking it out when it was cooling down.
help?
